Shaving for breast cancer
The ladies of The Bay Emporium are celebrating Mother’s Day a little bit differently this year – with a head shave in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Linda and Caroline have been inspired by the courage of women they’ve met who have lived or are living with breast cancer. Some of their customers even use The Bay Emporium as a place to escape thinking about their treatment and just relax.
On Saturday 10 May, the day before Mother’s Day, Linda and Caroline invite everyone to come to the store, pick up something fantastic for your Mother and watch them lose their hair.
With a percentage of all sales in the week leading up to Mother’s Day going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation it’s easy for you to help. You can also drop into the store or phone (07) 4197 1000 and make a donation over the phone. Even children participating in the lolly jar guessing competition on the day will be helping the Breast Cancer Foundation.
Linda and Caroline would like to thank Tash from La Techniquex who is donating her time to shave their heads and MIX 103.5 for broadcasting live from the store during the shave.
The entire Bay Emporium team hopes to see you there for the big moment.
